Elaine Martini, Founder of The Connected Life

Elaine Martini is a bestselling author, entrepreneur, speaker and founder of The Connected Life. Her work explores what becomes possible when we stop living by who we think we should be and start trusting who we actually are.

Born in Brazil, Elaine's life has taken her across countries, careers and businesses. She moved to Italy to complete a Master's degree in Building Restoration, later built a life in the UK, and now lives in Portugal. Along the way, she spent almost two decades in the construction industry, built her own business, and eventually left that world behind to follow a dream she had carried since childhood: becoming a writer.

She is the author of Truly Connected: Create a Life and Work Guided by Your Inner Wisdom, Authenticity, and Soul, a #1 bestselling book exploring authenticity, intuition and creating a life that feels genuinely your own. She is also the founder of The Connected Life, a community centred around practical self-growth, inner work and living with greater awareness and intention.

Today, through her writing, speaking and community, Elaine brings together personal storytelling, perspective shifts and practical tools that encourage people to question the expectations they have inherited, reconnect with their own inner wisdom and make more conscious choices about how they want to live and work.

"We don't need more women becoming better at doing everything, instead we need to question why we believed we had to."

Her story is one of entrepreneurship, reinvention and starting again, often without knowing exactly where the next chapter would lead. It is also a reminder that success doesn't have to follow a straight line, and that sometimes the most important thing we can build is a life that feels like our own.

"I've changed countries, careers, businesses and definitions of success more than once, and every reinvention has taught me the same thing: we're allowed to stop building lives that look successful and start building ones that feel like us.

"That's the conversation I am looking forward to bringing to MUMentum."
