Donna Howe is the founder of Crystal Kisses. It began with her love of crystals, but over time it has grown into something much more personal.
Before having her children, for 12 years, she worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a local primary school and trained to become a teacher. Helping people learn, grow in confidence and believe in themselves has always been a huge part of who she is.
Then she became a mum, built a business and, like so many women, spent years juggling the different versions of herself and trying to work out where she fitted amongst it all.
In April 2025, Donna lost her mum. Grief made her look at life differently, question what really mattered to her and understand, on a much deeper level, how it can feel to lose touch with the person you once were.
The death of her mum brought a lot of change, healing and self-discovery. Donna explored her spirituality more deeply, developed her own gifts and, somewhere along the way, realised that the business was changing with her.
She didn't want Crystal Kisses to simply be somewhere that sold crystals, and wanted it to mean something.
The journey became Heal.Restore.You.
Today, Donna uses her love and knowledge of crystals alongside grounding, reflection and gentle spiritual practices to help women pause, reconnect and begin finding their way back to themselves.
"Being part of MUMentum means so much to me. As mums, business owners, partners, daughters, carers and everything else we're called upon to be, it can be incredibly easy to put ourselves somewhere near the bottom of the list.
Her approach is beginner-friendly and clients don't need to know everything about crystals or spirituality, and certainly don't need to have everything figured out.
Because Donna's learnt that coming back to yourself doesn't always mean going back to the woman you were before. Sometimes life changes you. Sometimes you meet parts of yourself you didn't know were there.
And sometimes, amongst everything you've been through, you begin to discover who you are now.
Donna said, "I want women to remember that you are still in there too. You are allowed to pause. You are allowed to reconnect. And you are allowed to discover what coming back to you looks like now.
